At Florence Street Interiors, our approach to design starts with an eye for good taste, a fondness for mixing the old with the new, and a cup (or two) of great coffee.
With ten years of professional interior design and fine art experience, I assumed remodeling my own home would be relatively simple. I knew what I liked and I knew how to get it done. But countless hours of scraping, sanding, hammering, painting, and swearing proved one thing: that it takes so much more than good design to build a home.
It takes a team of talented designers, architects, contractors, and craftspeople; it takes a strong vision and a good plan; and - most importantly - it takes a sense of humor, a thoughtful hand, and a willingness to roll with the punches to bring your vision to life. The course of true home love never did run smooth, but with the right people beside you, this journey can become a remarkable part of your home’s story.
